The In Girum Collection celebrates cross cultural hand craftsmanship in a collaboration between NYC-based fragrance collective Joya and London design house Oliver Rugger. The In Girum Framed Print is a traditional woodcut created by U.K. artist and illustrator Stuart Patience. The work—depicting four moths hovering around a circular light—was inspired by an ancient Latin palindrome, In Girum Imus Nocte et Consumimur Igni : “We go into the circle at night and are consumed by fire.” Using black ink on heavy 250 gram, 100% cotton artist paper, the print was mounted and framed in wood in New York City.
