Martina Spetlova studied chemistry in Prague before changing her career path towards fashion when she joined her fashion course at Central Saint Martins in London. Graduating with distinction in 2010 and working with Jeremy Scott and John Galliano allowed Martina the experience to set up her own label a year later. Spetlova’s signature aesthetic combines contrasting textures and colours, expertly mixing bold, standout colours with tactile fabrics such as leather. Dimensionality plays a strong role with her collections, the woven layers of fabric, pleating and contrasting colours creates great volume with each piece.
